This Magnesium Rich Hair Growth Conditioning Mask contains Pure highly concentrated Magnesium oil to assist with deficiencies that cause problems for scalp and hair growth.

100% Pure highly concentrated Magnesium oil can play an important role in slowing down, stopping and even reversing mild to moderate age-related hair loss. Every cell in the human body requires magnesium to make over 300 enzymes, most of them related to the production and storage of energy. The cells lining the hair follicles are no exception, but because they are not served by major blood vessels, they don't always get their share of the body's magnesium supply.

If your body's cellular magnesium levels are low and you apply magnesium oil directly onto your skin/scalp, it may sometimes sting or tingle a little. This is not an allergic reaction—magnesium is found naturally in the body and is vital to good health.

  • There is no simple rule that says if you get enough magnesium, your hair grows and doesn't fall out, and if you don't get enough magnesium, your hair stops growing and falls out. The problem with your hair is a little more complex than that.

In the hair follicles, it is the ratio of magnesium to calcium that is key. If your hair follicles receive enough magnesium but too much calcium, or a normal amount of calcium and too little magnesium, the follicle does not generate hair on schedule. The hair on your scalp goes through three phases of its life cycle: anagen, when it is growing, which is about 90% of the time, telegen, when it is resting, which is about 8% of the time, and catagen, when it falls out, which is about 2% of the time.

The complete life cycle of a hair on your scalp is 3 to 4 years. It can take between 3 and 4 years for you to see the results of excess calcium (either from diet or from washing your hair in hard water) or deficient magnesium, at least on your scalp. And to be honest about it, while magnesium oil treatment of your scalp is something you really ought to do, visible results will be very gradual.

Think of magnesium oil as a kind of fertilizer for healthy hair. Just as your lawn needs fertilizer throughout its growing season, your hair needs magnesium oil as long as it is growing. It takes a while for a sick lawn to look healthy, even when you are doing all the right things. Likewise, it takes a while for magnesium oil to play its role in revitalizing your hair even though you need to use it several times a week.

The skin of your scalp still needs magnesium and still is last in line to get its share. Using a magnesium oil rich shampoo can restore health to the scalp and prevent problems like dandruff (which can continue even after someone is bald), dull skin, oily skin, and skin outbreaks. It will probably slow down hair loss, but it won't bring back hair that has been in a velour, peach fuzz state for many years.

Magnesium Oil is used to nourish tissues, including the scalp.

    Magnesium Oil for Gray Hair
There is not much doubt that gray hair is usually magnesium deficient, but does that mean that using magnesium will bring its natural color back? Actually, the answer is yes. But because hair is very slow-growing, it can take a while. Results usually take months.

Gray hair, although it's not a dye, and the effects won't be visible until the hair renews itself, after a period of 6 to 12 months.

Prevention, of course, is better than cure. Using a magnesium rich shampoo on your hair every time you shampoo, will prevent graying, unless you have an incident involving overwhelming stress, like a heart attack or developing diabetes.

Sea Kelp contains acids that can bind to toxins in your body, penetrates your skin and scalp and draws out impurities.

Natural health proponents maintain that high levels of toxins in the environment overwhelm various systems in the body, including metabolic processes and the immune system.

Sea Minerals contain 21 minerals including magnesium, calcium, sulfur, bromide, iodine, sodium, zinc and potassium. These essential minerals naturally occur in our bodies but must be replenished, as they are lost throughout the day. These minerals are known to treat, detoxify, and cleanse our bodies and scalps.

The following details some of the healing properties of these minerals:

Magnesium: Promotes quick healing of skin and scalp tissue and provides the skin and scalp surface with anti-allergic elements. Also essential for cell metabolism.

Bromide: Soothes skin, relaxes body muscles, and calms nerves.

Iodine: Important for the correct functioning of the thyroid gland and is aids in the body's metabolic exchanges.

Sulfur: A natural disinfectant (constituent of certain vitamins). Known as a powerful detoxifying agent, as it works closely with the liver to rid the body of toxins.

Potassium: Helps balance moisture in the skin and body, aiding in the reduction of water retention and in the nourishment of cells. Potassium also regulates the nervous system.

Calcium: An essential mineral, known to strengthen cell membranes and cleanses pores.

Sodium: Relieves stiffness and muscle cramps. Sodium is also a powerful detoxifying agent, helping cells retain nourishment and expel waste.

Zinc: When applied topically, it is known to protect the skin against sunburn and windburn (you know your hair can suffer from these too). Also known to boost the immune system. Internally, it is a key factor in enzymatic regulation of cell proliferation.

As you can see, these minerals play an important role in our health and provide many benefits. These minerals have incredible properties on their own, and when combined, they are known to treat and heal many common conditions.

    Vitamin C Repairs Hair Damage
You might not realize it, but our hair is impacted by our environment almost as much as our skin is. Because the effects don’t instantly show up in a noticeable way, we forget about protecting it in a more deliberate way. “Our hair is damaged by UV and pollution, as well as many other things we do to it, and vitamin C can help repair some of this damage the same way it helps skin repair,” Goldenberg explains.

Natural Clays are famous for its nutritional properties, gives shine and volume to hair, strengthens them, helps to remove dandruff and prevents hair loss. It has great adsorbent properties, and is able to gently exfoliate while stimulating circulation and cleansing – making it ideal for use on the scalp. Clay is perfect thing for cleansing and detoxifying, as it has the ability to remove positively charged (cationic) conditioners and products that can build up on the hair and scalp.

Natural Clays can be extremely beneficial for preventing hair loss. Heredity, stress, and even scalp conditions can be attributed to hair loss by the blood vessels in the hair follicles that shrink and cut off food and oxygen. According to Livestrong, Dead Sea mud contains manganese, which is a mineral that increases blood flow, so merely massaging Mudd/Clay Treatment Hair Paste/Mask into your scalp and let sit for ten minutes will improve the health of your scalp.

    Natural Clay Benefits:

Draws out toxins and impurities from the scalp and hair follicles.
Helps with moisture retention, soothing, sensitive and leaves hair soft and naturally moisturized
Natural deep cleanser, removes oil, dirt and toxins’just like it does for your skin
    Absorbs excess oil
Regular use gently removes dead skin cells, improves circulation.

    Add volume to your hair
This deep cleansing of your scalp will help add volume to your hair when it feels weighted down and saggy.
When your hair feels weighted down it’s usually not only a feeling. If you’re carrying around enough dirt, your hair will start to sag and regular shampooing may not be getting it all out. Regular shampoos remove surface dirt, but clays will pull out even more. The other difference, and this is big, is that activated charcoal isn’t going to leave the residue regular shampoos will, so your hair will feel lighter and have more volume.

Calcium Bentonite Clay acts as a magnet and a sponge. Its highly charged negative ions attract all positive charged ions (bacteria, viruses, toxins, etc.) from your body. These substances stick to and are absorbed by the calcium bentonite clay, and are eliminated from your body with the clay. In his book The Clay Cure, Ran Knishinsky writes: "When clay is consumed, its vital force is released into the physical body and mingles with the vital energy of the body, creating a stronger, more powerful energy in the host. The natural magnetic action transmits a remarkable power to the organism and helps to rebuild vital potential through the liberation of latent energy. When the immune system does not function at its best, the clay stimulates the body's inner resources to awaken the stagnant energy. It supplies the body with the available magnetism to run well. Clay is said to propel the immune system to find a new healthy balance and strengthens the body to a point of higher resistance."

    Remedy scalp conditions
Dandruff can be caused by fungal infections and irritated, oily skin – two conditions which Natural Clays can help clear up.
Dandruff, redness, oily and itchy scalps may be relieved with Natural Clays. You can use it as a scalp treatment also.

    Detoxifying
Clays rid the body of toxins.

Sage is particularly effective in encouraging new hair growth as it improves circulation to the scalp, providing more nutrition to the hair follicles. Being an astringent, it reduces dandruff and prevents clogged hair follicles too.

Marine plants and extracts are known for revitalising your skin. Sea kelp may not sound particularly glamourous or appealing when it comes to beauty, but this mineral and antioxidant rich seaweed is incredibly nourishing for the skin and scalp and is used in my Sea Minerals Collection facial serums, eye creams and body butters and scrub because of its potent anti-ageing properties.

Marine plants are very resilient as they have to survive in extreme, often-changing, environments, which makes them very valuable in skincare and helps prevent damage to amino acids and protects the cell’s membrane.

This further protects against damage caused by free radicals, highly unstable molecules which accelerate the ageing process by attacking healthy cells and damaging collagen. The extract can also ‘re-organise’ the cell membrane to reverse cell damage and restore them to their healthy state.

With calming and anti-inflammatory properties, it helps soothe the skin while also promoting new skin growth and healing.

Chamomile is soothing and has excellent anti-inflammatory properties. It can relieve itchy and scaly scalp, be it from dermatitis, psoriasis or dandruff.
Chamomile oil conditions the hair and protects it from the damage inflicted by environmental pollutants. When used as a conditioning rinse, it lightens the hair color and renders a golden sheen to it. Chamomile essential oil is a good choice if your hair is dry to normal. It helps treat dry and itchy scalp and is a great natural highlighter.

Melaleuca (Tea Tree) is the number one remedy for dandruff. It moisturizes the scalp and relieves dryness and itching. Tea tree oil works deep into the hair follicles, unclogging them and helping with normal flow of the skin oils. It is also known for its antimicrobial action, which helps resolve fungal infections as well as scalp acne complicated by secondary bacterial growths.

Lemon is a drying and clarifying oil ideal for an oily scalp. If you have dandruff or scalp acne along with oily hair, lemon oil can help. Rosemary is also one of the few essential oils that work well for all hair types. Rosemary essential oil encourages hair growth and has been successfully used in the treatment of alopecia arreata (baldness) especially when blended with Lavender. Rosemary stimulates hair growth by dilating blood vessels and stimulating cell division, which results in faster hair growth and healthier hair.

Sage essential oil encourages hair growth, cleanses and purifies the scalp, balances scalp oils, and helps to normalize hormone levels. You don’t want to use sage oil on children, or if you’re pregnant. In either case, substitute clary sage in its place.

Geranium is great at improving circulation and decreasing inflammation. It also helps relieve stress.

Eucalyptus oil can add luster to your dull and lifeless hair. This oil can revitalize dull hair and improve hair texture. It can also increase the production of ceramide, a type of lipid molecules that naturally occur in hair strands. Ceramides help keep the hair cuticle intact, and prevent the loss of natural moisture and protein from hair strands. This in turn increases the strength, shine, and elasticity of hair. Apart from removing dandruff, eucalyptus oil can increase the elasticity of hair. It can make your hair stronger and more resistant to breakage and split ends. The refreshing aroma of the oil can reduce mental stress and exhaustion, which can also go a long way in preventing hair loss.
