~ It is Sulfate free and Paraben free and is designed to be easily customized. This new formulation provides hair color retention, reduced combing force, wet or dry, reduced drying time and protection, antistatic, detangling and style manageability. The advanced matrix of beneficial ingredients makes this shampoo like no other.

BENEFIT: Retention
Our Color Protection Shampoo with Botanisil ME-10 showed perceivable color retention when compared to other commercial color protection shampoos. It also showed that hair fibers treated with our Color Protection Shampoo containing Botanisil ME-10 had better alignment and shine.

BENEFIT: Time Saving
Tresses treated with a Leave-In Conditioner containing Botanisil ME-10 vs. Control (No Conditioner)
One set of tresses was treated with a conditioner containing Botanisil ME 10. Control tress was untreated.
Both set of tresses were allowed to air dry.
Both set of tresses were washed with a non-silicone containing shampoo and blown dry. The time it took to blow dry the sample was measured.
Both sets of tresses were then re-wet and blown dry again.
Steps 3 and 5 were repeated after each wash for 5 washes.

BENEFIT: Protection
Blow-Drying Damage Study: European virgin brown hair was washed once in a commercial clarifying shampoo.
Method of processing: European virgin brown hair was taken and double-bleached. The tresses were then dyed with a commercial red hair dye and washed 20 times with a shampoo either containing or not containing Botanisil ME-10. The tresses were blown dry between each wash.

BENEFIT: Reduction In Combing Force (Wet and Dry)
RESULTS: Botanisil ME-10 deposits silicone on the hair and penetrates the hair cuticle to provide deep- conditioning results. Therefore, tresses pretreated with Botanisil ME-10 required the least amount of work to comb.

    Vitamin C Repairs Hair Damage
You might not realize it, but our hair is impacted by our environment almost as much as our skin is. Because the effects don’t instantly show up in a noticeable way, we forget about protecting it in a more deliberate way. “Our hair is damaged by UV and pollution, as well as many other things we do to it, and vitamin C can help repair some of this damage the same way it helps skin repair,” Goldenberg explains.

Packed with hair-enhancing vitamin B, including niacin (vitamin B3), panthenol (provitamin B5), and biotin (vitamin B7), it provides the nutrients necessary for stronger hair with more body and shine. It's ideal for thinning, dry, brittle, or damaged hair.

Vitamin B6 is an important member of the Vitamin B-complex family. It is involved in the protein metabolism in the body. It acts as a catalyst that activates the enzymes and chemical reactions. This start the metabolism of the hair proteins, keratin and melanin, in the hair follicles. This makes the hair follicles get enough keratin and melanin. All of this promotes hair growth and hair renewal.

Citric acid does magic for hair growth
Citric acid or lemon which is one of the most used fruits of the citrus family when it comes to foods, but did you know lemon juice makes also a remarkable hair care ingredient that helps hair grow? It contains high levels of Vitamin, Folic Acid and Vitamin B, as well as minerals like magnesium, calcium and phosphorus.

Citric acid not only helps in the stimulation of hair growth but also helps making the hair follicles healthy.

Vitamin C in the lemon juice does the magic by enhancing the development of the braid and makes thinning and shredding hair stronger. People have been using lemon and lemon juice in variety of ways from ancient times and the use of lemon for medicinal purpose has been recorded in late medieval times.

Citric acid improves the scalp condition by getting rid of the dandruff and it increases the flow of blood, which in turn enhances and mends the follicles of the hair necessary for a healthy hair growth. This ingredient absorbs the excess of sebum and will not adversely affect the sebaceous glands unlike chemical remedies.

At the same time, citric acid is a great compound to treat itchy scalp, which leads often to hair loss and stops the hair growth. Acid citric helps soothe the itchy scalp. With all these amazing benefits for hair growth, it is worth considering its use for damaged hair.

When it comes to using essential oils for hair, there are plenty of beneficial choices. Whether you are looking to thicken your hair, treat dandruff and dry scalp, give your hair strength and shine, or lighten your hair naturally, essential oils are much safer and just as effective as conventional hair care products.

They are also more cost effective — your favorite essential oil can not only nourish your hair, but it can help to reduce stress, alleviate pain and fight skin infections as well. Plus, essential oils are all-natural, which means they are free of dangerous chemicals and better for the environment and your home, too.
